New T.I. Fiyaahhhh

This song is ridiculous. I’ll have more politics up soon, but after bumping this an ungodly amount of times since I got my hands on it I figured I’d share the wealth.

I’m Back

So I’ve had a long, relatively useless layoff, but I’ll be slowly coming back into full effect over the next few weeks.

As for material, I’m not really quite sure where to start – the economy is in slightly slower freefall, Iran’s facade has been shattered, the Appalachian Trail just got a whole lot sexier, MJ’s gone, and Honduras looks as if it just jumped into a time machine. With all that material, though, I think it’s probably best I start with a bit of the same old, same old – the continued intellectual atrophying of the right. Without further ado, I bring you (via Tyler Cowen) Thomas Cowell (of the National Review) opining on Obama and sharia law:

Perhaps people who are busy gushing over the Obama cult today might do well to stop and think about what it would mean for their granddaughters to live under sharia law.

So, there you have it – America’s leading conservative magazine continuing to flog the dead, putrefying corpse of Obama-is-a-covert-Muslim-ism. Aside from being capital ‘w’ Wrong, it’s more than a little troubling to see a *relatively* mainstream magazine steep itself in such rancid demagoguery. But hey, they’re still losing, right?
